It wasn't what I thought at all. I thought it was going to be a campground not someone's front yard. It's crowded and I would never visit there again

I went fishing for the day and had very good luck. Love the lake. Very nice.
Our experience was more like 2 stars, but an explanation is in order. Paradise Lake is sure to be a terrific place for a family or group weekend camping experience. Unfortunately we were on the road and needed a one night stop and it was the Fourth of July weekend, so we got the last spot, which was up a sharp incline and very unlevel. We had to take the carrier off the back of the motor home to get into the spot without dragging it. The lake spots are very tight and down a steep and narrow gravel drive. Still it looked like an exceptionally fun place to be, it was just not the best choice for someone just looking for a spot to sleep for the night on a busy weekend.
Comfortable and quiet. Little run down. Has permanent guests.
